Know Interface SwishMax

Before you learn more, first you must know the layout or interface of SwishMax so you can use this application program quickly. In order to look at in this book are the same as the display on your monitor screen, use the monitor settings 1024 x 768 pixels.
Once you open SwishMax, Start Up menu is displayed as shown below.






 You can choose:
- Start a new empty movie to create a new movie,
- Start a new movie from a template to create a movie from a template that has been provided, and
- Work on an existing movie to open the movie you've ever made before.
Select the first option to create a new movie. Further display SwishMax interface will look like the picture below.




Main Menu

The top part is the Main Menu. Main Menu is a command in the pulldown menu. The contents of this menu such as File, Edit, View, Insert, Modify, Control, Tool, Panels, and Help.



Tool Bar

Under the Main Menu appears small icons called Toolbar. Toolbar function the same as the Main Menu, but with the toolbar you can perform commands more quickly, ie by clicking on the icon. For example to open a file you can simply click on the Open Standard toolbar. There are several types of toolbars on the line, namely: Standard Toolbar, Insert Toolbar, Toolbar Control,

Time Line

Time line is used to view the duration of time in the animation. At this time there is a line of frames that are filled with animated objects. Similarly, the effects were added to the duration of time the object will appear on the line this time.

Outline Panel

Outline Panel is used to manage objects that have been added to the movie page. To set the properties of an object, you can click on objects in the outline panel.

Panel layout is the place to arrange the objects that will be animated.

Tool Box

The Toolbox contains tools to create animated objects, such as text, lines, circles, boxes, and others. In addition to the toolbox you can manipulate objects such as: rotate, change the scale, spread and other objects. If you have mastered the graphics application program, you are not familiar with these tools and how to use them.

Movie Panel

This panel is used to organize and manage animated objects such as: set the background, managing the animated objects, and others.

 In the movie panel at the top there is the tools for setting the animation object. To activate the tool, click on the relevant tab. For example, click on the Guides tab if you want to set up help lines in the layout panel.
